Sad to hear that they closed. This was a family favorite when they were at the old location - generous and delicious mac and cheese with a variety of add-ins (hot dog, chicken, lobster) and the best fried pickles I've had. Tried the new place once, but it didn't have the same ambiance. I hope they will regroup and return to their old location as supposedly they had planned to! If they do, we will be back!

A great restaurant with a hometown charm. The staff was always friendly and we've made a few friends with them. The wings are great especially the pineapple habenro sauce. The cod chowder is excellent and the macaroni cheese is legendary in proportions.

This used to be my go-to spot for dinner because of the huge portion sizes. I haven't been back since they relocated, but based on recent pictures, it looks like the portion size is still the same (cannot say the same about prices, but that is the case everywhere). The lobster mac and cheese is my favorite. It is very cheesy with a good amount of lobster and also tastes great reheated the next day. I also had the Thai coconut mussels one time, which was also portioned well and tasty.

I remember this venue as the Stadium sports bar long ago, so after hearing so much about the Fat Cat and its oversized dishes, I was surprised to see that it was... right here. Turns out the Fat Cat moved here several years ago after outgrowing its original space. Oversized dishes are indeed part of the appeal here. Even though I was a bit hungry when I sat down at the bar, I looked apprehensively at others enjoying mammoth, casserole-sized servings of mac and cheese. Hmmm... no way I'm ever going to finish that. Unsurprisingly, everyone got leftover boxes to go. With these huge servings in mind, and noting that the menu wasn't necessarily cheap (items less than $10) but also not expensive (almost everything $26 and under), I noticed that a plate of scallops looked attractively priced at $26. A smart choice it was - indeed, a huge platter with half a dozen large scallop chunks, complemented nicely by a bed of roasted potatoes, corn, bacon, tomatoes, and basil pesto sauce. Enough savoriness and crunchiness to neutralize any "seafoody" flavors from the scallops, and, all in all, just the right sizing I wanted in my hungry, but not too hungry, state. Service at the bar was efficient, and I was pleased to see unique brews like a mango sour from Drekker in Fargo, North Dakota (!) in addition to the usual local and big-name national brews.

The Fat Cat Burger Is to die for.....juicy, moist, tender and a pleasure to have that for Lunch. Great location from their previous one and service is always attentive! I like the atmosphere a lot and if local easy to walk to and plenty of street parking.

I used to go to FAT CAT all the time at their old location. This was my first at their new location. I can honestly say, nothing has change and I'm so happy for it haha everything was as good as before! Portion size of each meal can be served to 2-3 people. I highly recommend getting their spicy tomato mussels and lobster Mac and cheese. They do NOT skimp on the lobster meat so you pay for what you get. It was roughly $30 for the lobster Mac and cheese but I guarantee you that it will feed at least 3-4 people. Definitely also get their wings. I usually stick with hot Buffalo and honey mustard. TIP - they can do half half for you, just ask! Service was superb as always. I do not get why the reviews are so bad. If it's your first time, I highly recommend trying what I normally order and see how it is. You will not be disappointed. Highly recommended!!
